I'm Celeste "CJ" Potter, founder of Potter Business Management. For more than 25 years, I've worked behind the scenes of businesses, learning how the numbers, people, processes, and decisions all connect.
My career began as a file clerk in a medical practice in 1999. Since then, I've had the opportunity to lead teams, develop systems, manage finances, improve operations, and work alongside business owners as they navigate both challenges and opportunities. Along the way, I earned my MBA, served in the Army National Guard, and built businesses of my own.
One of the things I've always enjoyed most is the puzzle. Understanding how something works, asking why it works that way, and finding opportunities to make it better. Sometimes the answer is in the numbers. Sometimes it's in a process, a conversation, or an idea that hasn't quite found its footing.
And sometimes the most valuable thing I can offer is simply another perspective.
Building Serenity Sips has added an entirely different dimension to that experience. I know what it's like to be the person making the decisions, managing the expenses, supporting the team, and trying to bring a vision to life while keeping the doors open every day.
That perspective matters to me because I never want to approach someone else's business as though there's an easy answer to something they live with every day.
I believe good consulting starts with listening. I want to understand what you've built, what matters to you, and what you're hoping to accomplish. From there, we can look at the possibilities, bring the right people and resources together, and figure out what makes sense for your business.
I don't need to be the person with every answer. I want to be someone who helps you find them, build on them, and put them into action.
